The pirates were smaller and the parade route was shorter, but the crowd at St. Joseph's Children's Hospital mustered all the enthusiasm of a full-sized Gasparilla parade.
On Monday, the hospital's pint-sized patients donned eye patches and pirate hats and turned the hospital corridors into a parade route with the help of three local krewes.
